According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.
