Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
