Iran is willing to resume nuclear discussions with the United States provided that it is handled with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

Abbas Araghchi declared solely negotiations worked, and shared fresh requests had originated from mediators to resume negotiations with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to allow the global atomic watchdog to visit struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Walking a Challenging Course

The foreign minister is navigating a complex route since Iran wishes not to appear to be acting from a stance of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged stronger defensively and emotionally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

He was talking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to process nuclear material within its borders that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the previous talks.

Prior Negotiations Suddenly Concluded

The previous five rounds of talks between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and bitter termination on 12 June when Israel, with US support, struck Tehran's atomic facilities in a 12-day war that culminated with the US president claiming the sites had been eliminated. Afterward, EU nations employed their privilege to reimpose international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a significant effect.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the enrichment issue in earlier negotiations, when it was agreed an local partnership with Washington's engagement could refine atomic fuel. The two nations would have been able to declare success since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could function on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. Representatives claimed on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Washington's diplomat the American negotiator only for the deal to fall apart due to "spoilers in Washington".

He asserted the assaults began with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an absolute demand for a truce.

Iran is certain the initial Israeli attacks were carried out with total Washington understanding and collaboration, making confidence difficult to restore.

Negotiations Remains the Final Solution

The foreign minister said: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned dialogue; it was America and the Western nations that had repeatedly tried to enforce their desires during the discussions. Dialogue can still be alive and stays the primary answer to settle conflicts, but its requirements, regulations and tenets must be adhered to."

"If they address to the citizens of Tehran with the approach of respect and honor, they will get a answer in the equivalent language."

Restoration and Reconstruction

In what is described by Iranian officials as the battle of recovery and rebuilding, the foreign minister claimed he was assured Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been reestablished. He added: "We managed to survive this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they planned to eliminate, continues to exist. The citizens of Tehran have become stronger, more united, and more endorsing of the government and the nation in the face of this assault."
