This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was removed the team required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
